The Role - KS1 Teaching Assistant

As a KS1 Teaching Assistant working through Academics, you will:

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons tailored to young learners.

Work with individuals and small groups to develop early literacy, numeracy, and social skills.

Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

Encourage positive behaviour and active participation in class activities.

Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff to help each child reach their full potential.About You

To be considered for this KS1 Teaching Assistant position, you should have:

Experience supporting children in Key Stage 1 or an early years/primary school setting (preferred but not essential).

A genuine enthusiasm for working with young children and helping them learn and grow.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

A patient, caring, and proactive attitude.

A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (preferred but not essential).Why Choose Academics?
