The Role - Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

As a HLTA working through Academics, you will:

Deliver planned lessons to whole classes in the absence of the teacher.

Provide targeted intervention and support for individuals and small groups.

Assist in planning, preparing, and assessing learning activities.

Promote positive behaviour and create an inclusive, engaging classroom environment.

Work closely with teachers, parents, and the wider school community to ensure the best outcomes for pupilsAbout You

To be considered for this HLTA position, you should have:

HLTA status or equivalent relevant qualification/experience.

Proven experience supporting learning across the primary phase.

Confidence to deliver lessons and manage whole classes.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach.
