Support young learners while building valuable classroom experience.

We are recruiting for a confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to support a primary school in North Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates or aspiring teachers seeking classroom experience in a welcoming and supportive school environment.

In this role, you'll deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring smooth continuity of learning. You'll manage behaviour positively, encourage engagement, and contribute to maintaining a focused and respectful classroom environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Supervising classes in the absence of the teacher.

Managing pupil behaviour and maintaining a productive environment.

Supporting pupils with their learning during cover lessons.

Providing feedback to teachers after lessons.

Required Experience / Qualifications:

Previous experience in a school or youth setting desirable.

Ability to manage groups of children confidently.

*

Strong organisational and communication skills.

*

A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
