Plumbing Lecturer – Further Education

Location: East London

Contract: Full–time / Permanent

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plumbing Lecturer to join our dynamic teaching team. You will deliver accredited Plumbing qualifications from Entry Level to Level 3 to both 14–19 learners and adults, supporting them to develop the skills and knowledge needed for progression into employment or further study.

What you'll do:

Teach and assess Plumbing qualifications in College and workplace settings. Design and deliver engaging, flexible training programmes that meet industry standards. Support learners with individual learning plans, progression, and achievement. Work closely with employers, awarding bodies, and internal teams to ensure compliance and high–quality delivery. What we're looking for:

A recognised teaching qualification (DTTLS, PGCE or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one. Qualified Plumber with relevant industry experience. A1 Assessor Award (V1 desirable). Experience of developing schemes of work, assessments, and embedding e–learning. Strong communication, organisational and problem–solving skills.
