Finance Assistant (Part–Time, Permanent)

A well–established independent educational organisation is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their busy finance department. This is a part–time, year–round role based on a 30–hour work week.

Key Responsibilities:

– Process financial transactions and maintain accurate records

– Reconcile accounts and manage payment processes (including international and faster payments)

– Support month–end procedures and prepare journal entries

– Maintain invoice logs and assist with day–to–day financial admin

Requirements:

– Prior experience in a finance/administration role

– Good working knowledge of Excel and financial software

– Understanding of accounting principles

– Strong attention to detail and discretion when handling sensitive data

– Relevant qualifications and experience in the education sector are beneficial but not essential

Package Includes:

– 19,500 per annum (30 hours/week)

– 25 days annual leave + bank holidays (pro rata), rising with service
