Job Title: Nursery Staff

Location: Basingstoke and surrounding areas

Job Type: Agency/Temporary

Rate: £12.50ph to £14ph

About the Role:

We are seeking experienced and passionate Agency Nursery Staff to support multiple nurseries in Basingstoke. As an Agency Nursery Staff member, you’ll provide vital assistance to nurseries in caring for and nurturing young children, ensuring they have a safe, fun, and enriching experience. This flexible role allows you to work across a range of different settings, offering variety in your daily work.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Provide high-quality care and supervision for children aged 0-5 years.

*

Assist in planning and implementing fun, educational activities that support children's development.

*

Monitor and encourage children's social, emotional, and physical development.

*

Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both children and staff.

*

Support with mealtimes, nappy changing, and other day-to-day routines.

*

Build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents.

*

Assist with general nursery tasks, including tidying, maintaining toys, and ensuring resources are replenished.

Essential Criteria:

*

Previous experience working with children in a nursery, school, or childcare setting.

*

Knowledge of early years education (Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or a related qualification is desirable).

*

Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.

*

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.

*

A current enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

*

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in various nursery environments.
