Contract Type: Full–Time

Start Date: September 2025

Pay Rate: GBP130 GBP230 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)

Qualification: QTS required

Experience: Minimum 6 months teaching experience in a UK secondary school

Overview:

Education Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a progressive and well–respected secondary school in Derby to recruit a dedicated Music Teacher for a full–time position starting September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled educator to contribute to a thriving department and support students at KS4 and potentially KS5.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver the KS3 & KS4 Music curriculum, with KS5 teaching available if experienced Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with department policy Monitor student progress and implement appropriate interventions Contribute to department improvement planning Attend staff meetings, CPD, and parents evenings as required

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Has at least 6 months of classroom teaching experience in a UK secondary setting Is passionate about Business education and student achievement Has excellent behaviour management and communication skills Demonstrates a collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to school life
