Midday Supervisor – Special Needs School (Ealing Borough)
We are seeking a caring, highly reliable and committed Midday Supervisor to join a welcoming special needs school in the London Borough of Ealing. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils during lunchtime and play a key role in their daily school experience.
Role details:
Hours: 11.30am – 2.00pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)Pay: 16 per hour
Key responsibilities:
Supporting pupils during lunchtime, including assisting with feeding students who have special needsPreparing and serving meals in line with individual dietary plans (e.g. blended foods) with a high level of accuracyEnsuring the dining and play areas are set up and cleared away efficientlySupervising pupils in the playground and supporting their social interactionAssisting with personal care (including toileting), where required
The successful candidate will:
Have excellent communication skills and strong spoken/written EnglishDemonstrate high levels of accuracy and attention to detailBe a quick learner, open to training and guidanceIdeally, have previous experience of working with children or young people with special needs and a sound knowledge of safeguarding
This role offers a fantastic introduction to working within a special school setting. Many of the school's Teaching Assistants began their journey as Midday Supervisors, so this position could lead to further opportunities for the right candidate.
