Level 3 Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a motivated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and community-driven primary school in Salford starting in September. This long-term Level 3 Teaching Assistant role will be supporting in KS1 and KS2 and offers the chance to contribute meaningfully to pupils’ education and development.

The Level 3 Teaching Assistant Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:

* Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils access the curriculum and reach their potential.

* Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.

* Support children with additional needs by adapting resources and strategies to ensure inclusivity.

* Create a nurturing and positive environment that promotes confidence and independent learning.

* Assist with classroom management, transitions, and maintaining a calm and focused atmosphere.

* Collaborate with staff and parents to monitor and support pupil progress and well-being.



Level 3 Teaching Assistant Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

* Holds relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning).

* Has experience working within a primary school setting, supporting EYFS, KS1, or KS2 pupils.

* Is patient, empathetic, and passionate about helping children succeed.

* Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills.

* Is proactive, flexible, and able to adapt to different classroom environments.
