Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Description

We are seeking a committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child within a Secondary School in Blackpool. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about making a positive difference in a child's education and wellbeing.

The role:

Provide tailored 1:1 support to meet the individual learning and social needs of the child

Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning strategies

Assist with classroom activities, ensuring the child is engaged and supported

Promote independence, confidence, and inclusion in the classroom and school environment

The school is looking for someone who:

Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience)

Has previous experience supporting children with additional needs

Is patient, nurturing, and adaptable to meet the needs of the child

Can build positive relationships with staff, parents, and external professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
