Level 2 Teaching Assistant - KS2
Location: DE55 (Derbyshire)
Day Rate: £95-£105 per day
Contract: Long-term to permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday ; 8:00am to 4:30pm
Start Date: September 2025
We are looking for an exceptional and motivated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school environment and work with KS2 pupils to deliver outstanding learning experiences. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team where children are at the heart of everything.
The Role:
Provide 1:1 and small group learning support within KS2 classrooms
Work alongside the class teacher to prepare and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons
Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
Promote positive behaviour and encourage active participation in learning
Assist in preparing classroom resources and displays
Contribute to creating a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for all children
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
Has proven experience working in a fast-paced school environment
Is adaptable, proactive, and passionate about supporting children's learning
Can work collaboratively as part of a skilled and supportive team
Brings a positive, professional attitude to every day in school
