Learning Support Assistant - Tower Hamlets

Location: Tower Hamlets

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Full-time, long-term

Pay: Competitive daily rate

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets is looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September.

The school has a strong focus on inclusion and pupil wellbeing, and is looking for someone who can provide consistent, high-quality support to pupils both in the classroom and through targeted interventions.

The role will involve:

Supporting pupils across the primary age range with their learning and development

Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required

Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEN and behavioural needs

Helping pupils build confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours

Working closely with the class teacher and wider support team

Contributing to a calm, positive and inclusive classroom environment

Opportunities to develop your experience within a primary school settingThe ideal candidate will be patient, proactive and confident building positive relationships with children. Previous experience working with SEN is desirable, but the school is also open to candidates with strong transferable experience.
