Learning Support Assistant - September Start
Location: BL9, Bury
Daily Rate: Up to £130 per day
Contract Type: Temporary, long-term
Start Date: September 2026
The Role
We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive school in the BL9 postcode from September. This long-term opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with pupils who need additional help to access learning and thrive in a classroom setting.
Key Focus of the Role
Providing targeted support to pupils who require additional learning assistance
Working alongside teaching staff to adapt lessons and resources
Supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally
Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement, and independence
Helping create a calm, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Who We're Hoping to Hear From
Candidates with experience in a school or educational setting
Individuals who are patient, dependable, and proactive
Strong communicators who enjoy working as part of a team
Experience supporting SEN is beneficial but not essential
A genuine interest in helping young people succeed
