Contract: Full-time, long-term

Daily Rate: £90-£110 per day

About the Role

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join their Year 1 team from 3rd November. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children's early learning and development, particularly those who may need extra help to reach their potential.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide targeted support, help pupils stay engaged, and encourage a positive and nurturing classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support the learning and progress of pupils in a Year 1 classroom.

Work one-to-one and with small groups to boost confidence and understanding.

Assist with classroom activities, interventions, and behaviour support.

Encourage independence and positive learning behaviours.

Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to support individual learning plans.

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a primary school setting.

Understanding of early learning and Key Stage 1 education.

Patient, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
