Learning Support Assistant - Harrogate

Location: Harrogate

Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time (flexible options available)

Salary: £90-£100 per day

Start Date: As soon as possible or after October half term

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners? Do you have the patience, creativity, and dedication to support students in reaching their full potential? If so, we'd love to hear from you!

About the Role:

We are seeking compassionate and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants (LSA) to join our supportive and inclusive primary schools across Harrogate and surroudning areas. You will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support to students with additional learning needs as well as in the classroom, helping them to thrive both academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN)

Assist in the planning and delivery of differentiated learning activities

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff

Support students with personal care needs, where required

Promote independence, confidence, and self-esteem in all learners

What We're Looking For:

Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational setting

A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Relevant qualifications would be ideal but not essential.How to Apply:
