Job Title: Level 3 SEND Learning Support Assistant

Location: Derby

Start Date: Immediate

Salary: £90 - £95 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an ambitious primary schools based in Derby who focus on enabling every child to be the very best they can be. They have a strong committed team, who all work together to provide each child with the best learning experience possible.

The school is looking to take on a Special Educational Needs and Difficulties Learning Support Assistant on a supply basis who can provide 1 to 1 support for individual children with learning disabilities. The successful applicant will have the skills to listen and understand the child’s needs to help them develop their learning.

The successful SEND Learning Support Assistant will have:

A Level 2 or 3 qualification (Education/Childcare/SEND)

First Aid Qualification (preferred)

A caring approach and patience towards each child

Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

A passion to make a positive difference to every child’s development

Previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Difficulties

Driving License (preferred)
