Salary: £20,957.63 - £22,317.75 (Term Time) | £24,934.20 - £26,552.40 (Full Year Equivalent)

As we prepare for Summergil House School to reopen in September, we’re looking for dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join our team. This is your chance to start the new academic year in a rewarding role where your skills and energy will help pupils thrive from day one.
Located in Presteigne, Summergil House School offers a truly unique learning environment, set within 18 acres of fields, woodlands, a stream, lake, swimming pool, and sports hall. Here, children with autism and complex needs are supported to feel safe, respected, and inspired. As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in providing engaging learning opportunities both inside the classroom and outdoors, helping students to achieve their full potential and build lasting memories.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll be:
A SEN Superstar: Champion bespoke learning strategies tailored to pupil needs.
A Resilience Rock: Use your confidence and positivity to inspire students.
A Creative Collaborator: Support teachers with lesson planning, activities, and assessments.
An Empathy Expert: Work patiently with small groups of pupils with complex needs.
A Relationship Guru: Build strong connections with pupils, families, and colleagues.
A Positive Vibe Promoter: Encourage positive behaviour and a supportive atmosphere.
An Independent Innovator: Use creativity to bring learning to life.
An Avid Adventurer: Help organise fun off-site activities.
A Care Champion: Support pupils with routines, breaks, and personal care when needed.What we’re looking for:
At least 12 months’ experience in a similar role.
A qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning (or equivalent).
GCSEs in English and Maths.
Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication.Please Note: This position involves working with children in a regulated capacity and requires an Enhanced DBS Check, including a Barred List Check.
