Hooray are delighted to be supporting a long standing client in the education sector to assist in the recruitment for a Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a 3 month temporary contract, with varying hours available up to full–time.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

Provide support to individuals on an individual or group basis Support the Tutor in lesson preparation, ensuring your students have all the necessary equipment Support the learners in reading and writing Play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN/SEND) to reach their full potential Encourage students to participate in lessons

To be successful as a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

Have experience of working with a young people with SEND or additional needs It would be advantageous to have experience in support students within a classroom setting Be able to remain calm under pressure Have excellent written and verbal English skills

In return, my client is offering an hourly rate of 13.58 per hour. Please note, this is a temporary position, expected to last a minimum of 3 months, with various hours available up to full–time.
