Learning Support Assistant

Folkestone

£440 - £550 per week

October – ongoing

Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join an exceptional Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Folkestone. This is a rewarding role where you will work closely with pupils who have a range of additional needs, supporting them to achieve their full potential both academically and socially.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, and social, emotional & mental health needs (SEMH).

Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, differentiated lessons.

Support pupils with communication, sensory and emotional regulation needs.

Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

To be considered for the Learning Support Assistant role, you will need:

Experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential).

A patient, caring and resilient approach.

The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

A willingness to learn and adapt to pupils’ individual needs.

A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
