Learning Support Assistant - Gateshead

We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join a great secondary school in the Gateshead area. The role is to begin September 2025 and is on a full-time ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing one-to-one and small group support to students

Assisting with learning activities in and outside the classroom

Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and learning difficulties

Encouraging engagement and confidence in learning

Requirements:

Experience working with young people within the past 2 years

A patient, supportive, and positive approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A passion for education and student development

Fully enhanced DBS or a willingness to apply for one via ourselves
