One of our secondary schools in Guernsey is looking for an outstanding on–Island Learning Support Assistant to support teaching staff and help learners reach their full potential.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to make a significant contribution to the outcomes of pupils within a welcoming and positive school environment. You will join a dedicated team who are committed to nurturing individuality and academic success.

You must have the ability and motivation to support the teacher across all subjects with a dedicated, nurturing and patient approach. You will ideally have experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or Mentor in an SEN setting, although this is not essential.

Due to the nature of this contract role, candidates must be on– island in Guernsey. This full–time Learning Support Assistant / Mentor role is available with an immediate start and great benefits.

Daily rate of up to GBP95 Holiday payContributory pension after 12 weeks.

Skills and requirements:

The right to work in the UKDBS on the update service (or willing to apply)An understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN)Strong classroom and behavioural management skillsAvailable to start asap.
