Location: Secondary School, Tower Hamlets

Contract: Full-time, term-time only

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Learning Mentor to join our supportive team at a thriving secondary school in Tower Hamlets. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in supporting students to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

About the role

As a Learning Mentor, you will:

Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support for students who need additional help with their learning.

Work with students to develop confidence, motivation, and effective study skills.

Help remove barriers to learning by supporting academic, social and emotional development.

Collaborate with teachers, pastoral staff and parents/carers to ensure students receive the right support.

Be a positive role model, encouraging resilience, aspiration and success.

About you

We are looking for someone who has:

Experience working with young people in a school, youth work or mentoring role.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, empathy and a supportive approach.

The ability to motivate and inspire students.

A commitment to improving the life chances of young people.
