KS1 Teaching Assistant – Based in a Primary School in Haringey
Part–time Long–term 95– 105 per day (PAYE)
A welcoming and inclusive faith primary school in Haringey is seeking a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team from 1st September 2025. This Teaching Assistant role is part–time (4 days per week) and will run for the full academic year until July 2026, with additional paid opportunities to support breakfast and afterschool clubs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant who thrives working in Key Stage 1, specifically supporting children in Year 1 and Year 2.
Position Details:
Start Date: 1st September 2025
Working Pattern: 4 days per week (Part–time)
Hours: 08:30am – 3:45pm (plus optional breakfast/afterschool clubs)
Pay: 95– 105 per day (PAYE)
Contract: Long–term until July 2026
Your Role as a Teaching Assistant Will Include:
Providing general classroom support across Year 1 and Year 2
Supporting pupils with additional needs and SEND to access learning
Assisting with classroom management and behaviour
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide consistent and targeted support
To Be Considered for This Teaching Assistant Role, You Must:
Have previous classroom experience as a Teaching Assistant
Be confident managing behaviour in a calm and positive manner
Have experience supporting children with SEND and additional needs
Be proactive, reliable, and passionate about working with young children
