GSL Education are currently recruiting a KS 1 Teaching Assistant to work in supportive schools around Gainsborough. The role is ideal for individuals who enjoy encouraging young learners during their early years of education.

Responsibilities as a KS1 Teaching Assistant:

Support pupils in Year 1 and Year 2, either 1:1 or in small groups.Assist in delivering engaging and age–appropriate lessons.Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.Provide pastoral and academic support tailored to individual needs.Assist with phonics, reading, numeracy and creative activities. Requirements for KS1 Teaching Assistant:

Previous experience working with children is desirable.Passionate about early education and child development.Good communication and classroom management skills.Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply).Full CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps explained.
