Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Chelmsford Area

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support schools across the Chelmsford area. This role offers both supply opportunities and potential long-term placements, giving you the flexibility to choose what suits you best.

About the Role:

Deliver small group and whole-class teaching sessions, following teacher-planned lessons.

Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs.

*

Assist with planning, preparation, and assessment under the guidance of the class teacher.

*

Help create an engaging, supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

HLTA status or equivalent experience.

*

Experience supporting learning across Key Stages (EYFS, KS1, KS2, or secondary).

*

Strong classroom management and the ability to work independently.

*

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
