Job Responsibilities

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:

Work with small groups of children across the school, delivering targeted interventions to pupil premium students.

Provide high-quality classroom support and foster a positive learning environment.

Cover classes in the teacher's absence, ensuring lessons are engaging and well-managed.

Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and senior leaders to raise attainment and support every child's development.

Play an active role in maintaining the school's high standards of care, ambition, respect, and empathy.

Qualifications/Experience

To be successful as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you must have:

Experience in a similar role (essential).

Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.

Right to work in the UK.

A proactive, flexible approach and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and wellbeing.

This Higher Level Teaching Assistant role requires someone who can confidently deliver interventions and cover whole classes when required, maintaining a stimulating and positive classroom environment.
