Location: Northwest LondonHours: Part-time, 24 hours per weekSalary: GBP30 to GBP35 per hour We are seeking a dedicated History & Politics Lecturer to join our clients educational team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality education in the fields of history and politics, and who thrives in an academic environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
Deliver engaging lectures and seminars in history and politics to students at various levels of higher education.Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.Assess students' progress by grading papers, exams, and other work.Stay updated with developments in the subject area, teaching resources and methods.Provide support and guidance to students during office hours.Participate in departmental and faculty meetings, and contribute to curriculum development. Required Skills & Qualifications:
A Master's degree in History, Politics, or a related field.Proven experience as a lecturer or teacher in these subjects.A Level 5 Teaching Qualification is desirable but not essential.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Strong organisational and time-management skills.Commitment to providing high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment.
