Hours: Full-Time

Teaching Personnel is working alongside a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Prestwich to recruit a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a full-time role starting in September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or qualified HLTA looking to take the next step in their career, supporting teaching and learning across the school while making a positive impact on pupil outcomes.

The Role

As a HLTA, you will work closely with class teachers to support learning, deliver interventions, and lead lessons when required.

Key responsibilities include:

Delivering targeted interventions and small group sessions

Supporting pupils to achieve their academic and personal goals

Leading planned learning activities across the curriculum

Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation

Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to staff

Promoting positive behaviour and pupil wellbeing

About You

We're looking for someone who:

Holds a HLTA qualification or has relevant classroom experience

Is confident supporting learning across primary age groups

Has strong communication and teamwork skills

Is passionate about helping children succeed

Has a good understanding of safeguarding and inclusion
