Location: Rotherham

Position: 0.6 FTE (3 Days per Week)

Salary: £115 - £140 per day (Dependent on Experience)

Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Long-Term Supply Role

TeachMatch Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and flexible Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Rotherham. This part-time role (0.6 FTE - 3 days per week) is available as soon as possible and is ideal for a passionate HLTA who enjoys delivering a range of subjects across year groups.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective pre-planned lessons to cover PPA time.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.

Work closely with class teachers and senior leaders to ensure consistency and progress.

Maintain strong classroom management and promote high expectations.

Provide brief feedback to class teachers following cover sessions.

Requirements:

Recent experience teaching in primary settings across a range of key stages.

Strong classroom management and adaptability.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

A passion for nurturing children's learning in a creative and supportive way.
