Description

The Role: Key Responsibilities:

Delivering tailored support to pupils with varying SEN in both one–to–one and small group settings

Assisting with personal care and mobility needs, including the use of hoists, under the supervision of trained staff

Developing positive, trusting relationships with students to enhance their emotional well–being and academic engagement

Responding flexibly and empathetically to changes in behaviour or routine

Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging learning experiences that promote student progress and independence

To be considered for the role of a SEN HLTA you will:

Be flexible.Experience in Teaching Assistant roles (Preferable).Ideally have your own transport or close public transport linksExperience with both small group and 1:1 is beneficialFriendly and nurturing qualities.Competent behaviour management skills.Familiarity with a range of needs (e.g., ASD – Autistic Spectrum Disorder, SLD – Severe Learning Difficulty and PMLD – Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulty).Preferablymoving and handling training or have recent experience in this.Have a patient and caring nature.Have a desire to work with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.Willing to complete CPD training. Salary

GBP445–GBP470 per week

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
