Key Responsibilities: As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning across the school. Your duties will include:

Leading small group interventions to support pupils academic progress

Covering whole–class teaching when required (e.g., teacher absence or PPA time)

Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging lessons

Providing targeted support to individual pupils, including those with additional needs

Monitoring pupil progress and feeding back to class teachers and the SENCO

Supporting behaviour management and creating a positive learning environment

Assisting in the preparation of resources and maintaining an organised classroom setting

Playing an active role in whole–school life, including events and extracurricular activities

The ideal candidate will have: HLTA status or equivalent recognised qualification

Previous experience working in a primary school setting

Confidence delivering lessons and managing classroom routines

A proactive, flexible, and child–centred approach

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A commitment to inclusive education and supporting all learners
