Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Remedy are seeking a passionate and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a team at a school in Chelmsford. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the teacher and senior leaders to support the learning and development of students.

Responsibilities of a Higher Level Teaching Assistant:

Delivering pre–planned lessons to groups of students or individuals as directed by the class teacher. Supporting the teacher with planning and preparation of lessons and learning materials Assessing student progress and providing feedback to the class teacher Managing behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment Providing one–to–one support to students with additional needs, including those with SEND Undertaking administrative duties as required

Requirements:

HLTA qualification or equivalent Experience working in a school setting, particularly in Key Stage 1 and 2 Knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks Ability to lead and deliver pre–planned lessons to groups of students or individuals Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and ability to manage own workload Experience working with children with additional needs, including those with SEND
