Health & Safety Manager GBP55,000 + Benefits Westminster

Are you a Health & Safety professional looking for a role where your expertise can truly make a difference?

We re working with one of the UK s most prestigious independent schools recognised as a genuine center of excellence, to appoint a Health & Safety Manager who will take full ownership of their safety strategy across multiple sites and a thriving commercial operation.

This is not a box–ticking role. You ll be leading from the front shaping culture, embedding best practice, and ensuring the highest safety standards across the organisation. As the go–to authority, you ll influence senior leaders, inspire teams, and foster a safe, positive environment for staff, students, and visitors alike.

Key responsibilities:

Lead on all Health & Safety policy, systems, and compliance Embed a proactive, positive safety culture across education and commercial operations Oversee audits, inspections, investigations, and risk management Deliver engaging training and impactful inductions for all staff Advise senior leadership and the Governing Body on safety matters Champion wellbeing initiatives and safe working practices What you ll bring:

NEBOSH National General Certificate & Diploma (or equivalent) Chartered IOSH (or equivalent) membership Proven experience managing H&S in a complex, multi–site environment Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and ISO 45001 Exceptional communication, organisational, and influencing skills (Desirable) Experience in education and/or specialist expertise in asbestos, CDM, or fire safety Why you ll want this role:
