Are you enthusiastic about supporting young children in their educational journey? We are currently looking for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a well-regarded primary school in Lichfield. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive environment where both staff and pupils are valued.

This is a high-performing school which provides a warm and inclusive atmosphere, where children feel safe and motivated to learn. The staff is dedicated, and the school is committed to offering the highest standards of education, creating a fun and enriching environment for both students and staff alike.

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the early years curriculum and helping children develop the essential skills they need for later learning. You will be part of a dynamic team, assisting in the delivery of lessons, providing individual support, and ensuring that each child feels confident and motivated to reach their potential.

What We Are Looking For:

* A valid DBS check is preferred but can be processed for the right candidate

* An EYFS qualification (Level 2 or above) is highly desirable, though not essential

* At least two professional references from previous roles in education or child-focused settings

* Passion for working with young children, particularly those in the early stages of learning

* A proactive and adaptable attitude, with the ability to engage and motivate children in a variety of learning activities

* Experience in an early years setting is beneficial but not a requirement.

Responsibilities:

* Support the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

* Assist with planning and preparing activities tailored to meet the developmental needs of the children

* Promote positive behaviour and support students' social and emotional development

* Provide individual or small group support to ensure all children have the opportunity to succeed

* Assist in maintaining a safe and stimulating classroom environment.

Please submit your CV or apply via our online portal. In your CV, please outline your relevant experience and why you would be a great fit for the role.
