We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented live-in or live-out Housekeeper/Cook to support a busy family of four in East Finchley (N2).

The role involves hands-on housekeeping duties, including daily cleaning of all rooms with special care for delicate surfaces such as wood, marble and fine fabrics, laundry, ironing and preparing healthy homemade meals tailored to the family’s dietary preferences.

You will also be responsible for maintaining all living areas, including the kitchen and bathrooms as well as ordering household supplies, liaising with contractors and tending to plants as needed.

Additional duties include caring for the family’s small Maltipoo dog, which involves feeding three times daily, walking, and general care.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate responsibility, honesty, discretion and a calm, friendly demeanour, with the ability to work independently and maintain high standards.

Working days and hours are Monday to Friday, ideally from 6am to 6pm (with flexibility to finish at 5pm or 6pm), with the possibility of weekend work by prior agreement.

Accommodation includes a separate bedroom with a private bathroom.

Salary is negotiable based on days, hours and live-in or live-out arrangements.

September/October start.
