Graduate Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools (Supply Roles, Selby)
Location: Selby and surrounding areas Contract: Flexible supply work, part-time/full-time available
Are you a recent graduate with experience of working in schools, or a psychology graduate looking to develop your skills in education?We are seeking enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis across primary schools in Selby. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience, support pupils in their learning, and explore a career in teaching or educational psychology.
What you'll be doing:
Supporting teachers in delivering lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2Working with small groups or on a one-to-one basis with pupilsAssisting with classroom management and learning activitiesHelping pupils with additional needs to thrive in the classroomGaining practical experience that complements your studies or future career plans What we're looking for:
Recent graduates (education, psychology or related subjects welcomed)Experience of working with children or in a school settingA passion for supporting young learners to achieve their bestAdaptability, resilience and strong interpersonal skills What we offer:
