General Teaching Assistants – Multiple Positions – Primary & Secondary – Merton

Location: Merton, London

Pay: £90 – £110 per day (dependent on experience)

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Long-term, with potential to become permanent

We are currently recruiting for multiple General Teaching Assistant positions across both primary and secondary schools in Merton. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and eager to support pupils in their learning journey.

The Role:

Providing support to teachers with daily classroom activities.

Assisting pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.

*

Helping to create an inclusive, engaging, and positive learning environment.

Supporting children across a range of abilities and age groups.

*

Contributing to classroom organisation and behaviour management.

Requirements:

A degree-level qualification is desirable but not essential.

*

Previous classroom-based experience is beneficial.

*

SEN experience is an advantage but not essential – training and guidance can be provided.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

*

A proactive, adaptable, and supportive approach to working with young people.
