SEN English Teachers/Tutors required in Croydon
Vacancy Details:
1 x SEN English Class Teacher (KS3/4 Functional Skills) – (Tutors are welcome to apply)
School Type: Pupil Referral Unit
SEN Needs: SEMH, severe challenging behaviour
Location: Croydon, CR0
Part Time: 3 Days Per Week (Flexible)
Time: 9:30am – 3:30pm (1hr Lunch)
Start Date: October 2025
Contract: Long–term, temp – perm
Hourly Rate: 30 – 40 depending on your experience and teaching qualifications
Parking: On–site
You will be teaching functional skills English to a small class of up to 8 pupils.
Classes will include mixed ages and genders – for example, you could have both Year 7 and Year 11 students in the same group.
As part of the role, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and assessing lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
Requirements:
QTS or 5 years' experience teaching your subject/sChild and Adult DBS on the update service The Right to Work in the UKSEN experience, particularly with challenging behaviours and SEMHOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted
