EYFS Teaching Assistant - SEN & Phonics Support - Redbridge

A fantastic primary school in Redbridge is seeking a dedicated, energetic, and engaging EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP. This is a full-time role supporting pupils in EYFS with additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, Global Delay, and Down Syndrome.

EYFS Teaching Assistant - Key Responsibilities:

Work as an EYFS Teaching Assistant supporting children 1:1 and in small groups

Deliver tailored phonics, reading, writing, and handwriting sessions

Support the classroom teacher in managing behaviour and daily routines

Adapt learning resources for children with SEN

Track pupil progress and support the school's inclusion strategy

EYFS Teaching Assistant - Role Details:

EYFS Teaching Assistant - SEN & Phonics Focus

Full-time, long-term role - full academic year

£95 to £115 per day

Based in a welcoming school in Redbridge

Term-time only, Monday to Friday

Immediate start available

EYFS Teaching Assistant - Person Specification:

Graduate with a passion for education and EYFS development

Previous experience with children or in a school setting desirable

Creative, caring, and proactive approach

Strong interest in SEN and early childhood learning

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
