SEND Learning Support Assistant – Havant

Contract: Full time – ASAP start

Salary: £82.20 - £100 per day

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, under the guidance of class teachers and the SENCO

Helping to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies

Creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment

Working collaboratively with teaching staff, parents/carers, and external professionals

Encouraging independence, confidence and communication skills in learners

Qualifications & Skills:

Has experience working with children with SEND (particularly ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or speech & language needs)

Is patient, empathetic and resilient with a strong sense of humour

Communicates clearly and effectively

Can work flexibly and adapt to the needs of individual pupil

Hold classroom support qualifications (desirable)
