KS3 English Coordinator

Location: Ealing

A stimulating opportunity has arisen for a dedicated KS3 English Coordinator to join a reputable secondary school in Ealing. This key role is for an experienced English Teacher with a passion for Key Stage 3, who will lead the curriculum, assessment, and pedagogical approaches to ensure all younger students build a strong foundation in English language and literature. The successful candidate will inspire a love for reading and writing and prepare students effectively for their GCSE studies.

The Role

The KS3 English Coordinator will:

Lead the development and implementation of an engaging and progressive KS3 English curriculum. Oversee assessment, tracking, and monitoring of student progress across Key Stage 3. Support and mentor KS3 English teachers, sharing best practices and promoting high–quality teaching and learning. Contribute to departmental and whole–school literacy initiatives. Analyse KS3 data to identify areas for intervention and enrichment. The Ideal Candidate
