As an English ECT, you will be responsible for delivering stimulating and thoughtful lessons that develop pupils reading, writing, and analytical skills. Job Requirements of the ECT English:

A recognised teaching qualification with QTS or ECT (with English specialism).Strong subject knowledge in English literature and language.Previous school–based experience teaching English as an ECT is required.A genuine enthusiasm for teaching English and nurturing young minds.Strong classroom presence with effective behaviour management techniques.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
