As a Cover Supervisor, you will manage a classroom, usually at KS3 or KS4 (ages 11-16), supporting students in their learning through prepared work. It is an excellent introduction to working in a secondary school and seeing if teaching is for you! It also makes a great addition to your CV and application for a PGCE! We currently have a high demand for cover supervisors in Schools across Manchester.
Other duties will include:
Behaviour managementAdminister clear instructions and feedback to pupilsDiscussing the set workDelivering engaging lessonsProviding guidance with the set workUnder the direction of the cover manager, supervise pupils in class during the absence of their class teacher. Randstad Education provides:
