The Role:

Start Date: Immediate opportunities available.

Location: Secondary schools in Basildon and surrounding.

Flexibility: Both full-time and part-time positions to suit your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-planned lessons and maintain a productive learning environment.

Manage classroom behaviour positively and effectively.

Engage and build rapport with students to support their academic and personal development.

Offer guidance, encouragement, and constructive feedback.

Who Can Apply?

You don’t need QTS to apply! We welcome:

Candidates with a Certificate in Education and Training (CET) or equivalent.

Individuals with experience in teaching, coaching, mentoring, or youth engagement.

Professionals from youth work, sports coaching, alternative provision, care work, charities, or similar backgrounds.

Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Confidence in leading a class and motivating learners.

A natural ability to connect with young people in a supportive and engaging way.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
