Cover Supervisor

Description

Cover Supervisors are an integral part of the education sector, when the usual class teacher is absent for whatever reason - a cover supervisor would step in to manage the class.

The work in the classroom will already be set, you will be delivering the lesson and managing the classroom with support from the cover manager and senior leadership team.

A cover supervisor will be a great role for you if you;

Have experience as a teaching assistant, behaviour mentor and are looking to progress into teaching.

Have experience teaching overseas and would like to gain some experience teaching in a UK classroom.

Are planning to study a PGCE, but would like to get ahead of the game with some classroom-based experience.

Are keen to apply for school direct training - grow your network and get recommendations.As a Cover Supervisor, you will be covering a wide variety of subjects and a variety of age groups within schools. Term Time Teachers will offer the following support to you;
