Location: Macclesfield and surrounding Cheshire East areas

Contract Type: Flexible – Day–to–Day, Short & Long–Term Roles

Salary: 90– 120 per day (depending on experience)

Start Date: September 2025

Simply Education is actively recruiting motivated and professional Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Macclesfield, starting in September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to gain first–hand teaching experience, develop behaviour management skills, and contribute to high–quality learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre–prepared lessons and manage the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher. Promote positive behaviour for learning and maintain high expectations in line with school policies. Create a supportive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for all students. Work across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering a range of subjects and age groups. Encourage independent learning, resilience, and participation from pupils.

What We're Looking For:

Confident individuals with strong presence and communication skills. A genuine interest in working with young people and contributing to their academic and personal development. Experience working with children or young people in an educational, coaching, mentoring, or youth work setting (desirable but not essential). A commitment to safeguarding and child welfare, with an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
