Salary: GBP100 – GBP120 per day

Are you looking for a long–term Cover Supervisor role with the opportunity to secure a permanent position?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a host of welcoming and inclusive secondary schools across Worcestershire who will be looking to appoint Cover Supervisors.

I am looking for Cover Supervisors who can commit on a long–term basis as well as cover day–to–day shifts, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right Cover Supervisor. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise whole classes during teacher absences, deliver pre–set work, manage behaviour effectively and support pupils' learning while contributing to the wider life of the school.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational or similar setting

• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) with strong numeracy and literacy skills

• NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• The ability to manage behaviour positively and effectively

• A proactive, flexible and team–oriented approach with a commitment to safeguarding
