About the Role
Simply Education is working with a secondary school in Chatham to recruit a passionate and dedicated Computer Science Teacher for a full–time maternity cover position. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive department, with lessons already planned, allowing you to focus on what you do best – teaching. The school is looking for someone who can start in the coming weeks and commit to the full duration of the role.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and effective Computer Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils.Use strong behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners and ensure high–quality outcomes.Work collaboratively with the existing team to maintain consistency and support pupils.Commit fully to the full–time timetable throughout the maternity cover period.What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.At least 1 year of teaching experience, ideally within secondary education.Strong knowledge of Computer Science and the secondary curriculum.Proven classroom and behaviour management skills.Reliability, commitment, and the ability to quickly integrate into a school setting.What We Offer
