Academics is currently looking to recruit a cover supervisor to work within our client secondary schools across Wallasey and the surrounding areas on a daily supply basis. This can be as flexible as you need it to be!

As a cover supervisor you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity in the classroom, ensuring that students receive the best possible learning experience during their teachers absences.

Main Classroom Supervisor responsibilities:

Supervising secondary school students in the absence of the regular class teacherDelivering pre–planned lessons and ensuring a productive learning environmentManaging classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive and respectful atmosphereAdhering to school policies and procedures

What you will need to work as a Classroom Supervisor with Academics:

Previous experience supporting children and/or young adults is desirableExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage the classroom effectivelyFlexible and adaptable to different school environmentsEnhanced DBS certificate registered to the update service, or be willing to get one (Cost applied)The benefits of working with Academics
