SEN Teaching Assistants (3 Positions Available)

Location: Kidderminster

Hours: Full–time, 5 days per week

Start Date: September 2025

Aspire is currently seeking three dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join a specialist SEN school in Kidderminster. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs, within a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the learning, development, and wellbeing of our students. You'll help them grow in confidence and independence while ensuring they feel safe, valued, and supported every step of the way.

Working closely with teaching staff, you will assist in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum across both classroom and off–site settings. The role requires flexibility–supporting students 1:1 or working with small groups depending on need. Strong, positive behaviour management skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Support students' learning and promote their independence

Assist with planning, delivering, and evaluating educational programmes and individual plans

Help assess, record, and report on student progress

Encourage independence and self–confidence at all times

Maintain accurate and up–to–date records

Follow all safeguarding and health & safety procedures

Support the development of positive behaviour and self–regulation skills

Please note: This is a varied and dynamic role, and flexibility is essential. You may be required to adapt and assist wherever support is needed across the school day.
